Youth attacks conductor for no google pay facility in bus

KANNUR: A youth attacked and injured a conductor for saying that there is no Google pay facility in the bus. The accused identified as Ramesh of Panur in Kannur has been arrested. Bus conductor Raghavan sought treatment at a hospital in Thalassery.

The victim Raghavan is conductor of a bus operating along the Koothuparamba-Panoor Route in Kannur. On Saturday evening, Ramesh boarded the bus from Pookode, but he did not have any money to pay for the ticket. A verbal dispute broke out between the two when the conductor said that there was no google pay facility in the bus. The fight escalated and in a fit of rage, Ramesh attacked the conductor. When others in the bus tried to stop the fight, the youth tried to attack them also.
