Full version of the post

The truth should come out and be dealt with legally. I welcome inquiries into the allegations levelled against filmmakers including myself. An objective and transparent investigation is essential in this regard. Only then will the true nature of the allegations discussed by the public come out.

Not only as an actor but also as a public representative, I have a responsibility towards the public. Coming from a family background with a theatrical background, I understand the pain and anxiety of those in the arts better than anyone else. My mother started acting at the age of fourteen and continues to do so at the age of 87. I have no complaints against those who come to hunt me down politically. The political drama with the allegations being levelled now had been raised in 2018 too. The general public rejected it then. I want to offer some explanations based on evidence that will reveal my innocence to those who will judge against me.

In 2009, a woman contacted me on the phone, introducing herself as a film aspirant. She came to my house with a photo album for a personal meeting and introduced herself as Minu Kurian.

When she said she wanted my help with chances in movies, I responded by saying, as usual, I will try. She later sent me a laptop message conveying my polite behaviour during the meeting. At no point during that time did she point out any flaws in my behaviour or express displeasure. After that, there was no information about her for a long time.

In 2022, the same woman contacted me again on the phone. This time she introduced herself as Minu Muneer. She asked me for a big financial help. When I expressed my helplessness, she said that at least one lakh is enough. She sent me a WhatsApp message asking for this amount. In another message, this woman informed me that people from a particular community had been asked to intervene in the matter since I did not pay. A few days later another person who claimed to be her husband called me and demanded a huge amount of money.

This gang, who constantly blackmailed me for money, has now turned against me when they got an opportunity. I am revealing this based on the evidences which are the messages they sent me. I am not one to conspire to harm someone's personality or dignity. But I am also not ready to succumb to blackmail tactics. The facts must come out. Those who create a cloud of accusations and set traps to ruin the lives of others will be singled out. I will proceed with strong legal action against such people
