'Don't worry, I can drive it'; youth arrested for attempting to hijack KSRTC bus

PATHANAMTHITTA: Police have arrested a man who attempted to hijack a bus from the Thiruvalla KSRTC bus stand. The arrested person has been identified as Jebin from Anjilithanam. The incident occurred last night.

Jebin was reportedly under the influence of alcohol. He got into a parked bus that was operating on the Mallappally route and drove it forward. The KSRTC staff and others managed to stop him and get him off the bus. Following this, they informed the police about the situation.

Footage of the incident has surfaced. The accused can be heard saying "Don’t worry, I can drive it," as the KSRTC staff attempts to remove him from the bus. A case has been registered for attempting to hijack the bus, and the police have confirmed that the accused will be remanded.
