KOZHIKODE: The investigation team has received information about one of the key links in the MDMA case in which four, including three teachers, were arrested in Vadakara. Information about the Wayanad native was obtained during an investigation focused on the WhatsApp messages and bank account transactions of the arrested teachers and the delivery boy.
The investigation team has found that he is the one who supplies drugs to many districts. The money received by the teachers while selling drugs was handed over to him through the delivery boy. The investigation for the Wayanad native has been intensified. Keerthana (31), special educator at Perambra BRC and a native of Maruthongara, K Kavya (29), a teacher at the Autism Center at Cheruvalur Government LP School and belonging to Koorachundu Cherukat and V P Neeshma, special educator at Perambra BRC, and belonging to Avala Kutoth Valiyaparambil and online delivery agent Jijil Kuriakose have been arrested so far in the case.
The investigation team has found that lakhs of rupees have been transferred through their bank accounts in the last one year. It has also been found that transactions of more than rupees one crore have been made in Jijil's account in the past six months. The cyber cell is checking Jijil's phone to collect more information.
