Covid threat; CM urges people to be cautious during New Year celebrations

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has extended New Year greetings to all Malayalis. The world is getting ready to welcome the new year. He wished that the new year would usher in a period of harmony, friendship and development. He also urged the citizens to isolate the forces trying to disturb the peace and harmony in the state collectively. The CM also said we should move together with more strength for that.

“The new sub-variant of Covid has raised concerns. Studies indicate that this variant has the capacity to spread faster. Everyone should be careful not to get infected during the New Year celebrations.”, he said. The Chief Minister also appealed to the people to be cautious during celebrations.
