Strong evidence against accused in NEET-UG paper leak case: Delhi Court

NEW DELHI: A Delhi fast-track court has said there is strong prima facie evidence against the accused in the NEET-UG question paper leak case. The court, while considering the chargesheet submitted by the CBI, noted that all 13 accused had allegedly operated as part of a syndicate.

According to the CBI chargesheet, the accused leaked questions from Physics, Chemistry and Biology and sold them to students. The students were also allegedly given special coaching based on the leaked questions.

The CBI also found serious lapses on the part of the National Testing Agency (NTA). Three subject experts involved in preparing and translating question papers for the NTA were allegedly linked to the group involved in the leak, the investigation found.
