THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A group of minor students were allegedly assaulted following a dispute over a request for extra rice with mandi at a restaurant in Thiruvananthapuram. The incident was reported at Capital Mandi in Pettah on Thursday afternoon.
The students, who are studying in Classes 8 and 9, went to the restaurant to eat mandi. According to the complaint, an argument broke out between the students and the restaurant staff after they asked for additional rice with a half mandi.
