NEW DELHI: Indian cricketer and youth icon Sanju Samson has been appointed brand ambassador of Jan Kaushal Kendra in Moti Nagar, an initiative of the Madan Lal Khurana Foundation. Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta announced the appointment after meeting Sanju. The two also unveiled an official poster featuring Sanju as part of the campaign for Jan Kaushal Kendra.
“Met Bharat’s star cricketer and youth icon Shri Sanju Samson and congratulated him on joining Team Delhi!” Rekha said in a Facebook post.
Sanju shares a special bond with Delhi, where he spent his early years and began his cricketing journey. As the brand ambassador of Jan Kaushal Kendra, Moti Nagar, he will inspire Delhi’s youth towards skills, opportunities and self-reliance, the Chief Minister said.
The government is also holding discussions on setting up a Centre of Excellence under Jan Kaushal Kendra in Shalimar Bagh, Rekha’s constituency.
Sanju is also expected to feature in a video message aimed at taking Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of equipping one crore people with skills in the field of artificial intelligence over the next year to young people.
MLA Harish Khurana, senior members of the Trinity Foundation and representatives of IACT Education were also present.
