Alencier wants 'Dappan Koothu' to replace songs in churches

alencier

Actor Alencier Lopez launched a scathing attack on the songs heard in Christian churches. He said the time has come to change the songs in churches. He said that he feels most sad when listening to the songs rendered in churches when anyone dies. He said that he never goes for any deaths. Such songs need to be changed. The actor said that like in Tamil Nadu, we need a bit of singing and drums etc. He said this in Kaumudy TV’s programme ‘A day with a Star’.

His words
I don’t go for deaths. Once you enter the church a song is heard when the body is taken out from the church. I will cry before the housemates cry. It is such a sad song. Why is it so sad when a man goes to heaven nearer to God? The song will make you cry. The song need to be changed. We need something like seen in Tamil Nadu, songs and others. We should send them happily. We need to send a man escaping from this ugly world happily. Instead of that, we make them cry. A man coming to the soil should go back to the soil itself. What's the point of crying in that? Grieving with music in it without even admitting to see death.
