Co-worker sexually abuses woman on her way home from work, man arrested in Thiruvananthapuram

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A man has been arrested for sexually abusing a co-worker. Bonacaud native Prince Mohan has been identified as the accused. He has also been accused of forced abortion after the woman became pregnant.

The Vithura native woman was allegedly raped on September 29 at night while returning home from work. Prince, who works with the woman, forcefully took her to an abandoned placed and raped her. The woman told the police that the man threatened about leaking the visuals of the woman on social media.

The man has also been accused of taking money worth lakhs from the woman. Vithura CI and team nabbed Prince after receiving the woman's complaint. He is also an accused in about 10 cases of trespassing forest area and attacking forest guards. The accused will be presented at the court after detailed interrogation.
