THRISSUR: One among the seven including six remand prisoners who escaped from the Government Mental Health Centre in Thrissur, has been taken into custody. Remand prisoners identified as Thanzeer, Robert Vijayan, Nikhil, Vishnu, Vipin and Jineesh have to be nabbed again. Police has intensified search for them. The seven inmates escaped from the mental health centre last night.

They escaped when they were taken out from the cell for dinner. They first locked the two nurses on duty. They later attacked cop Renjith when he came to prevent them and snatched a chain of three sovereigns and a mobile phone. They grabbed the keys from the cop, opened the lock and escaped from there.
