Isolated rains to lash the state for four days; yellow alert declared

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: IMD has warned that there are chances for isolated heavy rains in certain parts of Kerala in the coming four days. A yellow alert has been declared in three districts namely Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam and Idukki.

The meteorological department has warned that isolated rains can lash the state with a speed ranging from 64.5 km to 115.5 km. Winds with a maximum speed of 55 km/hr could lash the Kerala coast. Authorities have warned fishermen from venturing into the sea.
