UDF supporter from young age, Firoz does not rule out possibility of contesting assembly polls

MALAPPURAM: Firoz Kunnamparambil, a social activist, has come to the fore responding on the issue while discussions on contesting assembly elections are active. Feroz told media that no one approached him to contest polls except in news and it was up to the people to decide whether he should contest or not.

As an activist of the Congress and the Muslim League, Firoz said that he had been a UDF supporter since young. Though it is heard that Firoz will contest from K T Jaleel's constituency of Thavanur, the UDF has not given any official confirmation on it.

There was a campaign that he may contest after picture of Firoz appeared on ads of LDF candidates during the local body election nomination process. His picture was on the billboard of the LDF independent candidate in the third ward of Othungal panchayat.
