THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Jacobite Church has tightened its political stance in protest against the non-enactment of legislation in the Church dispute. Politicians and candidates will not be allowed in the bishop houses. The Jacobite Church said in a press conference that it would put an end to the perception that the Church was a vote bank for some and would no longer trust the government.
The Jacobite Church, which ended its 50-day strike in front of the secretariat, accused the ruling party and the opposition of ignoring it. This pain will be reflected in the coming Assembly elections. The leaders of the Church said that the stand to be taken in the assembly elections will be announced in the coming days.
