Police says Jolly had four reasons to kill her first husband Roy Thomas

KOZHIKODE: The police revealed the reasons for Jolly, the main accused in the Koodathayi multiple murders, to kill her first husband Roy Thomas. The details of it are explained in the custody application. Police cite four reasons for it. His heavy drinking habits, superstitions, questioning her illegal relations and to marry a man having a fixed income. The custody application mentioned that the murder was committed with the help of the second and third accused Mathew and Praji Kumar respectively.

Meantime, the police have sent the three accused in police custody for six days. Jolly was sent in police custody for six days and the other two for 16 days. The order was passed by Thamarasseri First Class Judicial Court. The accused will be taken to Payyoli crime branch office for interrogation.

The crime branch demanded 15 days custody. After leaving the court, Jolly and Praji Kumar were subjected to medical examination at Thamarasseri taluk hospital. Mathew was produced in the court after medical examination. The case will be considered again on October 16.
