Newly-wed couple killed in bike accident in Malappuram

THENHIPALAM: In a tragic incident, a newly-wed couple was killed in a road accident in Thenhipalam on Saturday. The deceased have been identified as Vengara native Salahuddin (25) and his wife Fathima Jumana (19). Their marriage took place 10 days back.

The incident occurred at around 10 am on the national highway when Salahuddin's bullet collided with a tanker truck while he attempted to overtake a bike. While Salahuddin died on the spot, Jumana died on the way to the hospital.
