Ready to contest polls, will try to become CM, want Pinarayi to retain power in Kerala, says Kamal Hassan

CHENNAI: Actor turned politician and president of Makkal Needhi Maiam (MNM) president Kamal Hassan said he would be contesting the 2021 assembly polls in Tamil Nadu. He said a decision would be taken soon on which constituency he would contest in and would try to become the chief minister.

The actor said he wants Pinarayi Vijayan to retain power in Kerala. He said this while talking to a private channel. Meantime, Kamal Hassan added that Rajinikanth would not return to politics and as a friend sought support from him in the upcoming polls.
