THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala has said that it is ridiculous for Narendra Modi to come to Kerala and talk about development after constantly ignoring the state. Accusing Modi of deceiving people by shedding tears in the name of Sabarimala and believers, Chennithala asked if the Prime Minister remembered his earlier visit to Kerala when he declared that a law would be introduced for the protection of customs.
Chennithala also said that the CPM and BJP should merge to form a single party since their secret deal was exposed before the public. He was responding to the Prime Minister's remark that the LDF and the UDF should merge in Kerala.
