Mala Parvathy takes a jibe at WCC

mala-parvathy

Actress Mala Parvathy has come forward with the reason for not being in Women in Cinema Collective (WCC), an organization for women working mainly in the Malayalam film industry. She makes it clear that her organization is Association of Malayalam Movies Artistes (AMMA), and has a respect towards WCC. At the time the WCC is formed, they decided to keep me and dubbing artiste Bhagyalakshmi away from it, Parvathy said in an interview to Kerala Kaumudi Weekly.

She mentioned the stand taken in the Dilip issue. They might have been angry towards me for the stand I had taken in it. There will be no difference in my stand if the actor is proven guilty. I decided not to tread a person involved in an issue and they may have not liked it. That is my stand, it may be a bad character but for me personal relationships are a big thing. The full interview can be read in the magazine’s latest edition.
