കാസർകോട്: ട്രാഫിക് പിഴയിൽ തിരിമറി നടത്തിയ എസ്‌ഐക്കെതിരെ വിജിലൻസ് കേസ്. മുൻ എസ്‌ഐ അരുൺ മോഹനെതിരെയാണ് നടപടി. ട്രാഫിക് പിഴയായി പിരിച്ച 2.96 ലക്ഷം രൂപ തട്ടിയെടുത്തെന്നാണ് കേസ്.

ബേക്കൽ, മേൽപ്പറമ്പ്, വെള്ളരിക്കുണ്ട് സ്റ്റേഷനുകളിൽ ജോലി ചെയ്ത കാലത്തെ ക്രമക്കേടിലാണ് കേസെടുത്തത്. പിഴയടച്ചിട്ടും ഇ-ചെലാനിൽ അരുൺ കുടിശിക രേഖപ്പെടുത്തിയെന്ന് കണ്ടെത്തിയിരുന്നു. അരുണിന്റെയും ബന്ധുക്കളുടെയും ബാങ്ക് അക്കൗണ്ടുകൾ വിശദമായി പരിശോധിക്കുകയാണെന്ന് പൊലീസ് അറിയിച്ചു.
